GrandVision and Harmeling have been working together for decades. Initially, we were brought in solely to design distinctive interiors for stores in the Netherlands and Belgium.
We are now one of three pan-European suppliers and deliver throughout Europe—from Norway to Italy and from Switzerland to Estonia. Our role goes far beyond simply manufacturing and installing interiors. At Harmeling, we have a dedicated client team working exclusively for GrandVision. This team encompasses all disciplines: a relationship manager, a project manager, engineers/work planners, and a project drafter. At a separate facility (3,000 m²), we also handle production, logistics, and warehousing. To ensure we can deliver on time every time and remain flexible, we maintain a storage facility where a basic stock of interior elements is kept specifically for GrandVision. From here, the interiors are shipped to the project sites. On-site installation is often carried out and coordinated by us, but sometimes we engage a local organization that is closely supervised by our client team.
We also play a key role in the development and refinement of the retail concept. Specifically for GrandVision, we have set up a permanent prototype space in our facility where new concepts or concept components can be assembled and discussed. National and international delegations from GrandVision regularly visit this space to consult with one another and with us.
