Kees Smit Garden Furniture

Unique surprises, such as a seven-meter-high living wall, ensure that there is always something new to discover in the physical inspiration zones. This is a great reason to visit the Kees Smit Tuinmeubelen store in Almelo more than once. The interior’s foundation also consists of multifunctional and modular furniture elements that can be adapted to each season or trend. We also contributed ideas for a logical shopping route and the layout of the six very different inspiration zones across 250 m² of floor space.

Debora Anbeek and Anne-Louise Hogenkamp of Kees Smit explain: “Harmeling listened carefully—even reading between the lines—and translated what we consider important into an interior design. We clicked right away. We complemented each other and enjoyed working together. Harmeling’s enthusiasm, commitment, and certainly their realism really appeal to us. We started with just an idea and involved Harmeling very early on. We truly feel that together we’ve created a challenging interior—one that will serve us well for years to come thanks to its modular design.” Read more about this project.

In addition to the Kees Smit location in Almelo, we have now also completed the Amersfoort location (350 m²), and a third location will be added soon: Venlo. We are also creating the inspiration gardens there.
