Peace and luxury in every detail. At Badhotel Domburg, it’s all about relaxation on the Zeeland coast.
To enhance this experience, we carried out a complete renovation of the custom interior between 2021 and 2025 in close collaboration with the project management firm Brandmeester BV from Heerenveen
A total of 116 rooms and suites, spread across three floors, were completely renovated, along with the hallways and lobby, based on a design by Studio Bink.
The renovation took place in two phases:
- Phase 1 - 14 weeks: 74 rooms and associated hallways
- Phase 2 - 12 weeks: the remaining 37 rooms, 5 suites, and the entire lobby
Here in Rijssen, the entire interior was engineered, including the bathrooms. Most rooms are the same size, which allowed us to prefabricate the bathrooms in collaboration with Asselux. As a result, we were able to install as many as 4 bathrooms per day on-site and met the challenging installation schedule. The Badhotel Domburg now combines the warmth of the past with a modern, forward-looking aesthetic.

The Next Phase: From Rooms to Hospitality
In 2025, we completed the custom interior design for the restaurant, hallways, and banquet halls on the ground floor. This was a challenge because everything had to seamlessly integrate with the existing hotel concept while the hotel remained partially operational!
Sustainability
Where possible, existing interior elements and equipment were reused, preserving character while keeping an eye on the future.
Characteristic features include the flowing curves and refined finishes, where luxury, comfort, and functionality come together.
The result is a warm, harmonious hospitality environment that makes guests feel welcome immediately.
